The role of a parish councillor is varied and there is something of interest for everyone. Some of the things we do include: managing pieces of land, recreational grounds, cemeteries, playground equipment, toilets and car parks. We try to make a difference to our local environment: supporting more wildlife. We make decisions on how to spend public money fairly; we campaign for safer roads; and we give feedback on planning applications. Whatever your interest or skills set, there will be something for you.

If you are interested, we invite you to attend our Council Meeting on: Tuesday 10 June 2025, at 1900 in the Tamar Valley Centre, Drakewalls, PL18 9FE.

Please email clerk@calstockparishcouncil.gov.uk (preferred method of communication) or send us a letter to confirm you are eligible (see information below) and that you will be attending.

Please indicate your preference for representing the following wards: Calstock, Gunnislake, Harrowbarrow or Delaware Ward but also whether you would be willing to represent any of the localities.
