There will be a local screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing film on the threats to British life from ongoing damage to nature and to our climate.
Location: Tamar Valley Centre
Date: May 30th
Time: 4.00 pm
The film features footage from last November’s National Emergency Briefing, which brought together leading UK experts in climate science, food security, health, economics, national security and nature.
It presents a clear, measured overview of how the climate and nature crisis is affecting everyday life in Britain – and what the evidence says about risks and responses.
So to “help the environment” there are parking charges now at Gunnislake station. What was once a car park being used by many is now mainly empty all day with parking elsewhere and some stopping using the train altogether. Also a £100 fine for a missed £3 payment is extortionate. And if I sound bitter I am. Machines and app not working and an online request from me for help to pay ignored so I got that fine. Who let scam artists into our community? Get rid now.
The Parish Council does not own nor manage the Gunnislake Station Car Park and the charges were not introduced by us.
