We are aware that there are rumours about a potential development at the Donkey Park, St Ann’s Chapel and that the parish council are apparently aware of it and have apparently passed comment.
I can confirm that the Parish Council is not aware of any pre-application and has not been contacted by Cornwall Council on this matter so has not offered any position as to whether they would support the application or not.
We will endeavour to find out more information from Cornwall Council but in the meantime we should not be discussing the issue until such time as a formal planning application is brought forward – to do otherwise risks predetermination.
Once we hear anything substantial from Cornwall Council we will let you know and – if appropriate – raise it at a Planning Committee or Full Council meeting, but we must be careful not to predetermine an application.
