Gunnislake Community Matters (see poster for details, booking required).
Join us on this evening / night time walk to hopefully hear and possibly see these seasonal visitors who fly all the way from The Congo in Africa each year to breed in heathland. They arrive in April / May, and fly back in August / September.
Following the walk of about 1/2 mile along the Tamar Trails, up the hill to the Arsenic Calciners to see the Nightjars at dusk, we will walk back to the car park, hopefully seeing plenty of different species of bat along the way. The walk will finish around 11pm.
Donations are gratefully received towards the cost of maintaining the Bat Detectors, which are available for people to borrow, whilst on the walk.
