At the Full Council meeting last night, it was resolved to give the owners of the pictured items (below) 7 days to retrieve their items.
We published a post on this website and our facebook page on 06 March 2026 alerting the owners that the items will be disposed of, or repurposed if they were not collected by 08 April 2026. The original post read:
Three water based vessels and a boat trailer were left on Calstock Waterfront last year. They were issued with notices and the owners were asked to remove them within 28 days.
It has now been several months. Please contact the Parish Council before Wednesday 08 April 2026 should you wish to recover these items, otherwise they will be disposed of under Section 33 of the Environment Protection Act 1990.
When items such as these are left, it is the Parish Council that has to pay for their removal which puts further strain on our financial resources.
Please make contact with the clerk on 01822 748847 or Pete Gadd on 07887 090445 by WEDNESDAY 22 APRIL 2026.
