Members from Harrowbarrow Community Shop Committee were recognised for their efforts in setting up a new shop in the grounds of Harrowbarrow Village Hall Car Park. They have raised an enormous amount of money to get a suitable building.  Karen Bennett and Steve Matcham were present and accepted the award.

Our main presentation went to Malcolm Wright. Malcolm has been involved in a number of community projects in Calstock and the surrounding areas for years. Malcolm is retiring from organising the Bike Show in Calstock after 20 years. He has devoted countless hours and seen the event grow from a small scale, one-day event to one that attracted over 3000 people. The boost to the village economy was significant and profits from the show have been distributed to community organisations and parish council initiatives. We would like to wholeheartedly thank Malcolm for all of this work and we know he will tell us it is a team effort, with volunteers bringing the community together.
