In an effort to tidy up the Waterfront Area, Parish Quay and the Station Car Park at Calstock we have implemented an ‘Abandoned Boat Policy‘.  This is aimed at boats that appear not to have been moved for some time or those which haven’t got an up to date licence. It is also not fair on the people who have paid for a mooring ring or chain.

If you have a boat that requires a mooring chain or ring and have not paid so far this year, please contact the parish council by Friday 05 July 2019.  The price for the chains (between the Pontoon and Slipway) are £90 and the rings (from the slipway to the ice cream parlour) are £130.

At our next Waterfront Working Party (date to be arranged) we will be considering how best canoes/kayaks can be stored in the area – but please, make contact with us and tell us which your vessel is to ensure it is not removed.

If contact has not been made with the Clerks by Friday 05 July 2019 the items will be reported to Cornwall Council and removed under the  section 33 of the Environment Protection Act 1990 as fly tipping.
