PLEASE SEE MESSAGE FROM THE ENVIRONMENT AGENCY AND RESPOND DIRECTLY TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS AT THE END OF THE MESSAGE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.

Dear Residents,

I hope you are keeping well. The Environment Agency have commissioned an important research project and we’d like to invite you to join an online focus group to discuss your thoughts, views and experience of flooding in your area. Your contributions, which would be treated anonymously, would feed into a piece of research exploring how communities such as yours could be better protected against the damage caused by flooding.

You would be compensated £25 for participation in a 90-minute online video conference call using Google Hangouts during the working day between the dates now and end of June. Also, on the conference call would be up to five other participants as well as two researchers from WPI Economics, a research consultancy who are assisting the Environment Agency on this project.

If you have flooded previously (not in the last 6 months) or are at high risk of flooding and have some availability then we would very much appreciate your time. If you are available, please get in contact with Joe Ahern who works for WPI Economics at joe.ahern@wpieconomics.com.

Kind regards,

Louise
