Unfortunately, there is a significant tree defect that will need emergency removal. The tree is considered a danger to highway users and needs urgent removal.
This will take place tomorrow morning 20/12/23 after school commuting (Callington, Calliwith and Tavistock have broken up today). There will be a hard closure in place with the below diversion for larger vehicles from 09:30 to 16:00 – The Traffic management will be undertaken by a contactor on behalf Cornwall Highways.
Local traffic may follow their own route, but this is not suitable for all the traffic that use the A390.
The local bus companies have been informed.
