Calstock Playboat…A big thank you

The ROSPA reports are in…and it’s Good News.

Thank you to the dedication of Steve Darbyshire and his team, the playboat has now got a much improved ROSPA report.

For those of you who don’t know, a ROSPA inspection carries similar dread in councils as an OFSTED inspection does in schools.

THANK YOU again to our volunteers and to our Outside Services Team for overseeing the work.

There will be ongoing work to do to keep the Playboat afloat (oh, hang on, we don’t want it in the water); so please let Pete Gadd know if you can spare some time in the Autumn to help preserve this iconic piece of play equipment. Pete’s number is 07887 090445
