We are holding a tea party to thank all the volunteers who have offered help during the Covid-19 pandemic.
We were humbled by the vast numbers of offers of help and support. You all did so much to help our community get through a terrible time.
The party will be held on Wednesday 27 October 2021 at 1500. We are hoping to hold it in the Tamar Valley Centre but there are ongoing restrictions as to numbers.
Therefore, if you helped us in any way whether it was doing grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, offering transportation, dog walking, making face masks, setting up Zoom contacts, gardening, delivering parcels etc and would like to come along and meet other people who helped please could you let us know by Friday 22 October 2021 in case we need to find another venue…
We will have a representative from Volunteer Cornwall to explain about the services they offer and how you can get involved if you would like to.
We look forward to seeing you then and in some cases finally putting a face to a voice.
