We have had reports of vehicles being stored, or even abandoned, in Calstock Car Park. These are large vehicles taking up valuable room in a car park that becomes full, especially in good weather.  If you have not got room to store large items please find somewhere suitable – public land is not appropriate.

We are now monitoring the vehicles that have been reported to us and if they have not been moved by Monday 10 May 2021, or agreement reached with Calstock Parish Council that they can stay for a limited period of time, they will be reported to Cornwall Council for removal under the Clean Neighbourhood and Environmental Act 2005 Refuse Disposal (Amenity) Act 1978; Removal, Storage and Disposal of Vehicles (Prescribed Sums and Charges etc) (Amendment) Regulations 1993.

May we also take this opportunity to remind people that neither the car park nor field allows for overnight camping?

If one of the vehicles is yours, or you have contact details for the owners, please contact us on 01822 748847 or clerk@calstockparishcouncil.gov.uk
