We are planning to go ahead with our Council meeting on Tuesday, having carried out a risk assessment and sent notices out to alert people to the issue.

Council Meeting Notice: Temporary Water Supply Disruption

To all attendees,

Please be advised that the venue for the upcoming council meeting – The Tamar Valley Centre—is currently experiencing a temporary disruption to its water supply.

The meeting will proceed as scheduled on Tuesday 14 October 2025 at 1900, and the following measures have been taken to ensure health, safety, and accessibility:

  • Toilets and handwashing facilities will be unavailable during the meeting.
  • Bottled water will be provided for attendees.
  • The meeting is expected to last no longer than 90 minutes, with no catering or physical activity involved.
  • Fire safety systems have been confirmed as unaffected.
