We would like to express our thanks to all of those people in the community who are gathering supplies and donations for the refugees – in particular to Darren Tait for travelling with 9 vans full of supplies to help refugees and war charities.
Why not money for the people affected by the war in Yemen?
Is it because the Ukrainians look like us but Yemenis don’t?
Or am I completely wrong and you have donated some of our money to help victims of all the wars blighting the world at present?
Not just Ukraine.
Would be good if we could collect a list of those people who have spare accommodation available for Ukrainian refugees. I have a granny flat available but have yet to find a way to register this with the government for that use.
