This morning we have received a statement from South West Water:
“A South West Water spokesperson said: “We have laid a new water main to add resilience to the network along with a temporary pumping station at the supplying reservoir to improve pressure and flows in the system.
“We are aware that a small number of customers may still be experiencing low pressure or isolated issues, and we are continuing to investigate these on a case by case basis and our teams are in the area offering ongoing support.
Any customers who are still experiencing issues are being urged to get in touch with South West Water by calling 0344 346 1010 so we can help.”
Nice to see some kind of explanation, however it’s very late , and not explicit, I have spoken to several people and not one can tell me what the original fault of the water failure.
Iam sure the engineers and mechanics worked very hard and also with long hours to rectify the problems, and they deserve praise for that,
The reason that people get frustrated, annoyed, angry and upset is all down to extremely poor communication from South West Water senior management who failed miserably to keep people informed of the root problem and the difficulties of rectifying the problem which commenced late last Friday night .
Can only say it was a very poor performance from South West Water senior management who no doubt at home enjoying lots of Water .
Very poor communication. Several days without water and one text message! Cr
