One person sustained serious injuriesPolice were called at 8.07pm on Monday 25 March following reports of a two vehicle collision on the A38 near Trerulefoot, by the junction for Catchfrench. The collision involved a Renault Kangoo and an Isuzu Rodeo. The driver of the Renault, a man in his 30’s from Saltash, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Derriford Hospital for treatment where he remains. The driver of the Isuzu, a man in his 30’s from Liskeard was also taken to Derriford, but this was as a precaution and his injuries are described as minor. The road was closed for over eight hours as specialist officers from the Devon and Cornwall’s Alliance Roads Policing Team attended along with a Forensic Collision Investigator and a Scene of Crime Officer. Officers would like to thank the public for their patience shown whilst they investigated a challenging scene. Police are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to email 101@dc.police.ukquoting log number 773 25 March. |
