Cornwall Council started charging for car park several weeks ago now but the Parish Council decided to waive the fees until September. However from 01 September 2020 parking charges will apply again.
Please ensure you display a valid parking ticket in your windscreen.
If you have a permit, you will need to renew these by 30 September 2020 – please contact the office to do so.
Please also contact the office to request a permit if you have not got one already but please be aware that there may be a waiting list for this as only 40 will be allocated. You can also complete an application form by following the link on the website (under Your Council).
You can contact us on 01822 748847 or clerk@calstockparishcouncil.gov.uk
PLEASE LEAVE US A MESSAGE AND WE WILL GET BACK TO YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE – OUR OFFICE REMAINS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC
Very concerned that the car park is regularly completely full. People have said they can’t park to go to the Doctors. I got the last space the other afternoon to go to the GUNNISLAKE Stores.
Could there be some bays marked for short term parking only? Or will the problem resolve itself once charging is reinstated? The shops need all the help they can get and if you can’t park
it’s a loss of trade for them. The butchers has already closed.
What is the position regards short term parking outside GUNNISLAKE Stores? Heard some
people had been given parking tickets. Thank you.
What will the charges be??
