Unfortunately due to the latest lockdown restrictions our plans to hold site visits have been cancelled. This means that we will be unable to do any planting in February as originally planned.
However, it does mean that we can take our time and plan the planting schemes for each locality carefully involving the local community and sourcing native plants from local businesses.
We will be holding a series of on-line meetings via Zoom on the following dates:
Wednesday 10 February 2021, 1300-1400 for Calstock (recreational field and cemetery extension)
Wednesday 17 February 2021, 1300-1400 for Gunnislake (recreational field)
Wednesday 24 February 2021, 1300-1500 for Albaston and St Ann’s Chapel (Cemetery, Millennium Green and Recreational Ground)
We will be joined by two Forest for Cornwall Officers who will be able to offer specialist advice and there will be some supporting guidance material available before the meetings which we hope will be of interest.
Please could you let us know if you are interested in attending the events and we will make sure we include you in our correspondence about them and send you out the relevant documents?
