The Environment Agency is aware of concerns regarding the rate of erosion being witnessed in the old flood bank breach. Whilst a level of erosion was expected, especially in the early stages, there have been more significant levels in recent high tides than was expected. The Environment Agency is closely monitoring the situation regarding the breach, and will take any action deemed necessary when required.
