There is another convey of supplies heading to Ukraine, thanks to Cornwall & Devon sending love to Ukraine
They will be particularly pleased for medical supplies and the Parish Council are donating 10 first aid kits. Other donations will be gratefully accepted.
If you have anything you would like to donate please bring it to the Tamar Valley Centre, Cemetery Road, Drakewalls, PL18 9FE from Monday 02 February until Monday 09 February. Items can be left in the reception area between 0930-1530 (please note this area is not staffed so items will be left at your own risk but will be moved to a safe location regularly throughout the day).
If these times are not convenient for you please contact Clare on 01822 748847 clerk@calstockparishcouncil.gov.uk
Afternoon Clare,
I notice that the collection for medical supplies for Ukraine has now finished.
I have some items from my old Aunts house which we have been sorting out which might be good for Ukraine. What things do you take, obviously anything in date – We have unopened Paracetamol liquid 3/4, Paracetamol tablets with long date to 2028, emollients, bandages and tape, etc. emollients, barrier cream, baby powder, silicone dressings and various unopened single dressings all sterile. Plus knee high support/compression stockings again unused. 3pks.
I can deliver to you if necessary we are only in Saltash. If you do not collect this type of medical supplies do you know of any other people taking things to Ukraine. Someone called Darren Taxis used to unsure if they still do.
Regards Penny Hooper
Thank you very much for your query. It was Darren’s Taxis that we were collecting for. I have emailed you with their email contact and hopefully someone will get back to you.
I think their main collection point is in Callington but hopefully Darren will confirm.
