Jim and Denise Wakem celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversary
The Parish Council would like to wish our Chair, Jim Wakem, and his lovely wife Denise, all the best as they celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
Jim and Denise were childhood sweethearts and started courting when they were 13. Denise came from Calstock where they were married, but Jim managed to persuade her back to his home village of Gunnislake.
They are off to Carbis Bay Hotel today and we hope they have a splendid weekend celebrating and here’s to many more years of happiness.
