We have had a request…
There is a family in the parish that are being supported by the Children and Family Services. They have a child with significant additional needs and his mum has just been diagnosed with cancer, they are in desperate need for some work to be completed in the family garden…
It would be to clear weeds and cut grass and possibly lay turf, we are also looking for people who may be able to lay some decking (small area) there is a concrete path needs demolishing.
We know this is above and beyond what we normally ask of our volunteers but if anyone feels they are able to help in anyway, or could gather a small team together to work at an appropriate social distance please let us know.
Please let us know if you are able to help and we will put you in touch with the family’s support worker.
The family live in the Drakewalls area.
Paul Williams and Libby Pickles – happy to help if it’s in the next 6 weeks.
