Calstock Parish Council – Councillor co-opted vacancies – Harrowbarrow Ward and Chilsworthy Ward

With a population of approximately 6,000 and 2,600 households, our parish comprises of several villages, the larger being Gunnislake and Calstock.

The Parish has vacancies for co-opted members for Harrowbarrow ward, and Chilsworthy ward. We are looking for people who have a desire to help their community and promote the parish. We are currently the second largest parish in Cornwall.

The role of a Councillor can be varied at the best of times. The three main areas of responsibility are:

  • Representing the people in your area
  • Community leadership
  • Supporting projects in your parish
